History of the name Englewood Volvo.

The name Englewood Volvo was formed in 1975 by the previous owner Mr. Ron Pozzi. The Volvo brand has been sold at this location as far back as the early 1950's when Volvo started importing cars in the United States. The store name from the early 1950's until 1975 was known as Kingsfield Motors.
The current owner and Dealer Principal is Bill Whited. Bill started out here in 1981 as a selling Manager and became a partner with Ron Pozzi back in 1987.
In June of 1997 Mr. Pozzi retired from being a Dealer and sold his business to Bill Whited and Bill Kundert.
This merger between Kundert Motors and Englewood Volvo was a natural fit. Mr.Whited and Mr.Kundert have been friends since the early 1970's when they were both starting out in the automotive business.
“It makes good sense for two large size Volvo stores to become one larger store with two different markets in Bergen County. Englewood Volvo, only five minutes from the George Washington Bridge, and Kundert Volvo in Hasbrouck Heights, only five minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel. More cars to choose from with two exclusive Volvo stores, means better selection, service, and prices for all our clients"
